Marshyangdi School is 100% supported by private philanthropy
Contributions from people like you provide the students with an education, food, a roof over their heads and community so they can thrive.
Donors may sponsor a student by making an annual donation to cover the cost of tuition, room/board, uniforms, and more. In exchange, donors receive a photo, report card, and handwritten letter from their student at the end of every semester.
The other primary fundraising initiative is our capital project to build a new school facility. After the 2015 earthquake in Kathmandu, our current campus was badly damaged, forcing students to sleep outside in makeshift tents. As a result, we are in the process of raising money to build a new, earthquake safe school that would double the capacity of the school. For more information, click on the brochure below:
